Cost Per Acquisition(CPA)
The cost to acquire one conversion (lead, signup, sale) through advertising.
Cost Per Acquisition measures the cost to acquire one conversion through paid advertising. CPA differs from CAC: CPA typically measures campaign-level paid acquisition cost; CAC measures fully-loaded company-level acquisition cost across all channels and including salaries.
Formula
CPA = Ad Spend / Number of Acquisitions Example
Spend $10,000 on Facebook Ads, get 100 leads. CPA = $100 per lead.
